These terms of business set out the services we can offer you.
Conister Finance & Leasing Ltd is regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority for Credit Broking Activities, firm registration number 723544
We are part of the Manx Financial Group and work exclusively with Conister Bank Limited who are a funder in this space and a 100% shareholder of Conister Finance & Leasing Ltd
We do not have access to the full market of funders available at this time.
As a Credit Broker we seek to source funding options for a wide range of purposes, tailored to your specific needs as detailed in the information you provide to us. We can provide information about the funding products and assist you in your application for finance.
If you do proceed with an application for finance, we may require you to provide us with further information and documentation evidencing your circumstances, ability to meet any loan repayments and due diligence requirements in support of your application.
We do not provide financial advice and you must make your own independent enquires as to the suitability of any suggested funding options.
We cannot guarantee to be able to find a suitable funding solution in all cases, but will seek to help the best we can. Our aim is to provide a professional, streamlined service meeting the high standards of customer care.
We do not charge you a fee for our broking services. Our remuneration is obtained through a finder’s fee or commission payment directly from your chosen funder.
Changes to our Terms of Business
We may change these terms of business for any reason without giving you notice. We would suggest you review them regularly during the course of our relationship to keep appraised of any changes.
We strive to offer the highest possible standards when providing our services, however, we understand that mistakes sometimes happen or expectations are not met. If you have a complaint about any of the services you receive from us, please contact us by post, phone, email or in person with the details.
If we are unable to resolve your complaint in a timely or satisfactory manner, and if you are an eligible complainant, you may be able to refer you complaint to Financial Ombudsman Service who can be contacted at:

If at any time you would like to terminate your relationship with us or request that we cease all action regarding a search and/or application for finance, you need only notify us in writing or by sending us an e-mail.
Following termination of our relationship, we may need to retain information we obtained from you for regulatory and/or legal purposes. The maximum length of time we may retain this information is 6 years following termination.
